Mine has to be hands down their celluloid picks, worst material ever for picks you get through a set and your pick is ground down to a nub and you have red dust all over your pickguard and strings just terrible

"Fender" product that I don't care for....The Music Man Stingray Bass. The neck's all squared off at the top. Goofy pickguard too.

One other complaint is some of the guitars and basses don't come with a hardshell case.

How is a guitar with body contours less comfortable than others without them?

Don't get me wrong I love the Stratocaster but it is rather uncomfortable to play

Personally, my Stratocaster is my Favorite guitar and the most comfortable to play. I love the maple neck and it fits snug against my body, and I can reach all of the frets effortlessy. I love the 9.5 radius on the fretboard. There may be a few drawbacks to a Strat, like sustain but thats about it. I don't find it uncomfortable one bit. Just my tastes....I learned on a les paul copy and played that style for years, but once I got used to the Strat, I think Leo Fender got the design down pat the first time. The Strat body style is The most copied guitar bodystyle there is. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery 8)

There IS one instance where I think a Strat is uncomfortable. Palm muting the B and High E string. It's something that's very common to do in Reggae music, and wouldn't you know it, there's a freaking Volume knob blocking your muting hand.

I think I saw someone on this forum who removes the Volume knob and goes with One Vol, one tone. I'm contemplating following suit. Just not something I want to do with my more expensive Strats.

As far as the product question. I don't know. I'm sure there are some little things out there that I wouldn't use (like the picks). Not sure what the deal is with the Koil Kord. I'm pretty sure that would bug me to use live.

+1…. other than not being humbucker equipped it is a great guitar. A true gigging workhorse all the way

Nah. Leo Fender and a couple other fellas did design the Stingray during Leo's run with the Music Man company though.

G&L was another company owned by Leo. The guy stayed pretty busy paving the way.
