Just purchased a 2005 John Mayer 3tsb. Would like to know if Fender would verify the serial number. According to their help page these have a SE prefix. There is no method of dating or authenticating these type of guitars by the serial number. The neck pocket revealed a neck date of 5/26/2005 and a body date of 6/8/2005 and the name A Olmos. As I plan to keep this guitar for prosperity, I would like a much info as I can get. Any help would be appreciated.
