The Who will remain as my all-time favorite among British bands.

Perhaps among all bands.

G'day all: cloudy where I am, which is probably good because I'm going out for a run with The Who on the iPod.

Some great jogging tuneage on "Quadraphenia", Ceri.

Yes INDEED! :D :D :D

So happens 5:15 is about a train ride that takes you almost exactly from my house to AndyBigHair's house. (And Pinball Wizard is about pretty much the same journey. As all ex-mods know...)

Some good running spots round my way and the option of a deck chair fight should you fancy it! :D

And Love Reign Over Me would have been ideal for today's run: the clouds opened half way round and I got home looking like an entrant in a wet T-shirt competition...

Enjoy!

Andy (more coffee anyone? or have i had enough...) :D

Seems that was the very year I was born. So I'm not going to pretend to have been there.

I do believe the photo on this paper shows the exact same scene from a different angle:

Brighton Rock, anyone?

Cheers - C

PS This must be totally meaningless to anyone from other parts of the world. For them Quadrophenia is a just a nice rock album... :D

Good Afternoon all!

Lots of chores for me today :(

Hoping to make a dent in my list so I can get to some playing this p.m. Still enamored with my MIM 60s Tele that I scored on Wednesday and I definitely want to spend some more bonding time this p.m.

Very nice day outside, a little hot but not too bad... but I'll take the air cond. Going down to 62 tonight so I can open the windows aaah.

Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon Beaubs! By now you have installed the glass block and are on the iron horse cruising with your main squeeze. Love to you Bro.

Afternoon all. Kind of had a slow start to the day. Had a bad night trying to sleep, the shoulder and arm are hurting like there is no tomorrow and the swelling is still there. BUT, my spirits are high and I am working on the design of my recording studio that we will be building up in our beloved Adirondack Mountain hideaway for when I retire. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
ABS :D
