I have a strabismus(lazy eye) in my left eye and only have about 20% of the vision of the right. The optometrist told me that the left eye never fully developed-I had rubella(German Measles)when I was 2 and that seems to have affected my vision.People with a lazy eye can't watch a 3D movie and get the same effect as people with 20-20 vision and usually have very poor depth perception and hand/eye coordination.I can't bat or catch a ball because I can't tell exactly how near it is so consequently baseball and softball were never my best sports.

I had a friend with a lazy eye and he always wanted to have it fixed, I told him "Bro you get more trim then anyone we know, if you have a doctor fix your eye that could change." and he said he just wanted it fixed. That was 10 years ago and I don't think he has 1 hammie now when before he had to carry a bat to keep the chicks off of him. So it can definitely be fixed but think about it Bro.

Well I'll join in too since I am also a member of the lazy eye club. fortunately for me I have enough focus in it that it never wanders and is in perfect sync with the other eye. I have some periferal vision but my eye sight is 20/500 and my good eye is 20/20. I can see some color and the difference between light and dark but that's about it. I've played sports and martial arts my entire life and it's never held me back. I just have to do a good job checking my blind spots when driving.
