stryder1017, you will get it with practice remember that it doesn't take a lot of pressure to affect the strings using the wammy. Is this a copy and who did the original back in 93-94?

Hello!

Good tune! Reminds me of the band Lit.... but better :D

I'm a bit of a whammy freak and reckon the best way to nail that is to practice followed by practice followed up with a side order of practice!

Also, get to know the range of you trem. How may notes can you cover from normal position to all the way down? Then start trying to pick out notes inbetween.

Hope this helps

Andy

I don't use a trem very often , like never really but from what I gather from that video, (and I am familiar with the song and like it ) the guitar player has a routed floyd rose on it and that's why he is getting that vibrato/ trem action almost effortlessly it seems.Back and forth, a little more back than a standard strat trem could do. That's my views on it. I never liked FR trems because I rest my hand on it and it makes it go up in pitch. I just played that lick and was able to get that trem action with my fingers, thats why I use 9 gauge strings  I have my trem decked with five springs and don't even own the trem arm. I had to scratch that acending little thing at the end of the hook, But I have to make some sacrifices for not using the trem. still sounded good enough for a cover. 8)
