Reading stories on some Non-Fender sites...

HH Tele
HH Strat
HH Jazzy
HH Jag

http://acapella.harmony-central.com/sho ... ?t=2654154

Where am I missing this on the FENDER site? How come nobody tells us about these things? :(

I like the Jag and Jazzmaster because they got rid of the extra electronics. The Jazz is actually HS.

I wonder if they are MIM or MIK.

Thank you for bringing it to the forum. :D

HH is not my cup of tea but they look super, especially the strat. I like the black amplifier knobs

Damn it. I'm in love with that Jazzmaster. And for only $450? I guess it may be time to part with the Mexi Strat ... :(

EDIT: And my next guitar was going to be another G&L, too. You just had to make that Jazzmaster, didn't you? :(

I think the strat could do with a big headstock, to balance the big knobs.

I'm liking the sound of CAR, Black Pickguard, and Rosewood Fingerboard.

Its about time there is a viable option for pickups other than low powdered single coils without having to buy a custom shop artist signature. I don’t know why Fender never really offered humbucker equipped guitars and not the H/S/S….. a p90 strat would be cool too…

That spalted Tele is hot. I've never been overly attracted to the Tele body until looking at that picture. Thanks for the link Shredd.

WOW that Tele is perfect for me- only I would be swapping the pickups with red lace duallys in the bridge- maybe a single lace in the neck..

I like the knobs too- thats just insane. Thanks Fender- are these going to be in the permanent line-up?

If there is another Fender guitar in my future it won't be one of these. I'm too old-school to see the point of "radicalism for radicalism's sake". I appreciate (and like) what FMIC R&D did with the Classic Player Jazzmaster but I fail to see the appeal of a short-scale Jag with humbuckers. If I want a guitar with humbuckers I'll stick with the company that does those the best. But if FMIC insists on pursuing the retro/re-issue theme, why don't they re-issue the alder-bodied early '70s Mustang in the 3TSB finish? Build it in the US and give it a pair of Fat '50s Strat pickups.

That's something I could hitch my wagon to.

Arjay

Ooh, I may have to check out that Jaguar. They all look cool, but I wish the humbuckers didn't look so Gibsonesque. :? They went with an uncovered bridge humbucker on the Jazzmaster, and it looks just fine. 8)
