I've often seen it asked about favourite Beatles,Hendrix etc. albums but can't recal the Stones ever being a topic. So what's your favourite? My first and favourite Stones album was December's Children(and Everybody's) it contained As Tears Go By,Get Off My Cloud and fabulous live covers of Hank Snow's I'm Movin' On and Route 66 by Bobby Troope? .Every song on the album is great-not a bad one on it.Their cover of George Jones' You Better Move On is worth the price of the album.

Introducing England's Newest Hitmakers...

"Love You Live" (1977) holds a big place in my heart, because when I was fourteen I was given a cassette copy of Disc II, Side One by a friend. It was my first exposure to the Stones, thus setting off a life-long love of their stuff.

When I first started playing guitar, I wanted to be a combination of Muddy Waters and Keef, plus be a vocalist like Mick. When I first started playing harmonica, the first song I copied (and eventually mastered) was the live (Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out) version of "Midnight Rambler". They are still a huge part of my foundation as a musician.

It would have to be Some Girls. It was the first Stones album I ever bought, and I still love the bad-boy punk attitude and the great songs. Incidentally, one of my earliest memories in life would be listening to the radio in the late sixties as a little kid and hearing the Stones.
