I just bought a double DVD concert of Joe Bonamassa. It was his concert at the Royal Albert Hall. I loved it. Check it out, if you have a chance.

I can't say anything about Joe that hasn't been said already. He is phenomenal. Saw him back in March and have 2nd row center seats for his show in November. If you want to hear another good concert of his pick up the double disc "Live From Nowhere In Paticular". His newest album Black Rock is killer as well.

Yes. Black Rock is a great album. And if anyone hasn't seen him live yet, it is well worth it!

Yeah.........I also saw the version on Palladia. That's what prompted me to buy the DVD. But.......there is much more on the DVD, that wasn't shown on Palladia.

I found my DVD at Best Buy. I think he's also selling it on his website.

In the 'extras' section, during the acoustic set, you'll see a quick shot of a guy whispering into his wife's right ear. :!: THAT's CERI...and he's telling her that "ZZdoc doesn't particularly care for the adaptation".Certainly had great seats, didn't they :!: 8)

I haven't got any dvd's but I have been building up on his back catalogue of cd's. This morning I was listening to one of his early one's 'So, It's Like That' and a track on there called 'Pain and Sorrow' and woah!! man, if you haven't heard this, do yourself a favour, it is ten minutes of sheer guitar heaven. Sounds like he gets his Strat out on this and man! I thought Hendrix was back and lots of other players too, including Joe Bonamassa.
Very good album, like all his others I've heard. Top guy. 8)

Own his entire discography excepting the last two. Gonna use my Father's Day gift from my kids for those. 8) Lent the Royal Albert DVD to a colleague of mine in late May. Still waiting......... :?

He's coming back to Nashville in November. Unfortunately, my daughter is due to deliver around the same time. So, can't commit to tickets just yet...
