I just got the email for the Fender Test Drive with a free shirt. Since I rarely go to guitar stores, I just missed my chance.

One month ago, I bought a Tele and I would've been able to get it the shirt. I know I can just walk in to Guitar Center, play on a Strat and get the free shirt but I just don't really feel the need unless I'm buying something.

And it's a cool shirt too.

Already mailed mine off and waiting on it in the mail ! Me and my cousin went to test drive a few strats and he walked out with a very nice Highway 1. I hope it takes less than the 8 weeks it took on the last shirt to get here :D

I am going out to get my test drive today. It has already been said, but again, thank you Fender for doing cool stuff like this!

And I think the concept works for Fender too; if people get a little push to go try some gear, they just might end up buying it. I tried a highway 1 - sweet - they had to pry it out of my hands at the store! Time to tweak the budget a bit to allow for a new toy...
