I just noticed that Guitar Fetish sells their branded strings. Has anyone tried them are they any good. I currently use ernie ball nickel wound regulars. I searched the forums but have not seen any posts on this.. I did get a tremblock from them and was very pleased with it.. in todays economy every nickel counts.. They are alot cheaper....

in any economy, with strings, you usually get what you pay for.

My preference for strings is D'Addario which I find have the best tone and break-in fast. At the bottom of the spectrum is Fender strings which -- for some reason -- sound noticably worse to me than any other brand. In between those two are all the other brands where I would lump GFS into. GFS are perfectly good strings ... I like them, but they are not my preference.

I have a set of GHS 10's on one of my Am. Standard Strats right now. They are fine. Hold a good tune and sound good too.
