How many of you still have some of these older issues? I haven't bought any in ages... but I remembered I had some from back in the day when I was really playing, found these great issues!



Great articles/interviews with SRV. Sept '88 issue Stevie talks about Albert King and his influence. Same issue has Albert as well. I like this quote from Joe Walsh:

"Eddie Van Halen is it these days... but Albert King can blow Eddie off the stage with his amp on standby"

I have all those except the one with SRV and Jimmie plus several more buried deep in my hundreds of guitar mag back issues.Some time I'm going to have to take a few days and dedicate them to chroniclogically arrange all my guitar mags.

I got the one on the far right off of ebay recently. It came out right about the time I was born, which made it an interesting (and kind of weird) read. I think I'm going to start a collection of those 80s and 90s SRV magazines, I've got all the more recent issues covered.
