Wes was fantastic! I prefer the music before they tied him up to orchestras but he was still great even then. Mabye I'll be called misinformed but I prefer him to Methany and that sort of stuff. My favourite Wes album is "Smokin' at the Half Note" and the track "No Blues" in particular.

"Around Midnight" is a good album by Wes Montgomery.
