I have a strat deluxe 08, and a pod x3 live. for the life of me i cant get a good even, yet heavy crunch like used in the intro and chorus on Power of Love by Huey Lewis.

A friend plugged in his Les paul and almost instantly pulled out a great tone. I find it much harder work to coax a heavy tone from single coils.

can anyone help and advise me here?

Ended up using a 2003 Diezel VH4 and with a bit of chorus it does the job nicely! Too many amps to chose from on this pedal!
