Normally I like D'Addario .11's on my Strats, but my frets are getting worn down and it got really hard to play them. I had my frets fixed up so they're all even now, but they're still too low for .11's. So right now I'm running a different gauge, 52-10's. I like the thicker bottom strings and the ones on the top are light enough to get some bends and vibrato that I was having trouble with before. But when I finally get my Strats refretted then I'll probably return to .11's or a find custom set with heavier than usual bottom stings and the .11's on top.

All my other guitars are still set up for .10's, but I'm going to switch them all out for the 52-10 gauge or .11's whenever I get the chance.

D'Addarios Chrome Medium Round wounds 45-105. I may change to Rotosound Solo 45/-105. I'm told there are not as bright.

Ernie Ball usually. They've always worked well, and I've never really experimented. When I get my fender I'll probably spend some time at my local guitar shop trying out different strings to get my perfect sound.

On all my electrics I have used D'Addario 8-38s and on my acoustics and acoustic electrics I use exclusively D'Addario 10-46 with the .018 wound G. I have used nothing but D'Addario strings for as long as I can remember.
