Hi FallbrkMike and welcome to the Forums. I too saw Steve Miller earlier this summer in Sacramento. Good show, definitely exceeded my expectations.

Have you seen Joseph and Victor Wooten's other brother, Futureman?

He plays the Drumitar (which I think he invented) with Bela Fleck's band.

Somebody give me a cheeseburger.

I heard a recent concert: very entertaining.
Lots of songs from his new album.

Hi strato. Thanks for the welcome. And, yes I've seen Futureman. Bela Fleck is one of my all time favorite performers and I've seen the Flecktones, I think, three times. In fact, we have tickets to see them in LA in December just before Christmas.

I see you're from Grass Valley. I have a relative that lives in your area, and I think he occasionally plays his guitar in some of the coffee houses and bars up there.

Steve has a great band and a great sound. Even my jaded 20 and 18 year old kids loved the show. The guy's is almost 70 years old, but the sound is still fresh and extremely polished at the same time. The keyboard player is Joseph Wooten, brother of Victor Wooten. If you don't know about Victor, you should.

Joseph Wooten sounds good on the "Bingo" CD with Steve Miller too!
