I saw one of these at my local GC and I really couldn't resist. I mean, for $15, how can you not get it? Even if I don't like it I can just return it and get something else. Anyway, took it home and I was very impressed. It's not so much that it has a super great dirty sound, but when I use it with my DGFX-1 and DS-1, it adds this grinding, fat richness to the tone, kind of beefing up the whole setup. And it's awesome for blues! If you've got the cash, I highly recommend it, just because it's a $15 pedal doesn't mean it can't sound great! 8)

I'm a pedal $@!$. I have a TON of pedals that I keep around just for different sounds in the studio or for something I want to throw in the mix for a song occasionally. Point being - I bought one of those used at Guitar Center for $5 and it's actually a pretty cool sounding pedal. I haven't used it for anything serious yet, but I'm sure it'll get its time eventually.

Dano makes some fun great sounding stuff. Try some of their guitars if you get the chance you may be surprised.

I listened to the sound clip on GC's website. I'm going to get one tomorrow. Why Not? 8)

I have a Danelectro FAB Chorus pedal that I got used, and I'm actually pretty impressed with it. Great sound for the price. I'm not sure how well the plastic casing would hold up under heavy use, but considering how cheap they are, you really can't go wrong.

Yeah I got me one of those Fab OD pedals last year. Blew me away. I mean it's never gonna compete with a boutique pedal at ten times the cost but for the (very little money) you can't go wrong.
I don't like the dirt when you really turn the gain up; I just have my gain pretty much on minimum and through my Champ 600 it just gives this creamy fat tone that I just love. Perfect for blues.

I have a full size Daddy-O that is really a very good sounding pedal. It's not a pure overdrive for tone snobs like a boutique pedal but it's still a very useful tone. I haven't tried any of the cheaper Dano lines. I also have a full size Fab-Tone but I don't find it to be as useful for my style as the Daddy-O. I used to have a full size Cool-Cat (chorus) and it was also not a very pure chorus but was very useful tone.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Yes, they make very underrated products! I have a mini amp from Dano, and with the drive on about 3 and the volume on 6 it sounds just like a tube amp. They make awesome stuff.
