So, I manged to snag up an '84 G&L Superhawk on eBay Tuesday for $360 bucks with $40 bucks in shipping.

I can't wait for it to get here, it's leaving me pretty anxious to say the least.

This is the first guitar I've purchased from eBay. Out of complete curiosity, how long of a wait am I in for? The shipping was described as "Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service" so ...

If anyone could chime in, I'd really love that.

Additionally, I have a lead on another Superhawk floating around in my state for about the same price. Apparently, someone removed the lower tone knob from the circuit and slapped a silver dollar over the hole, so it won't be too hard to recognize (as if it wasn't already). Next paycheck, I'm snapping it up.

It just depends on where it's shipping from/to. Same state? Probably about a week give or take a few days. Funny story about ebay, I was buying a box of LP's and I thought I was getting them at a steal, until I read how much he was charging for shipping....$175.00! Crazy. Anyway, it shouldn't be too long for the guitar.

It's being shipped from MI to my humble abode in KY.

I just want it to arrive on my doorstep so I can indulge in the U.S.-built Fender-designed goodness.

After all, this is the first American-made guitar I've ever bought ...

... I'm starting to wonder if it a.) didn't get shipped or b.) got lost.

I've tried asking the seller on two different occasions for a damn tracking number with no response.
