In honor of guitargirl93 I thought it might be cool for everyone to list their first job.

I got hired at Sbarro's in Stratford Square Mall in Bloomingdale Il in 1992 when I was 15. The pay was above minimum wage and we got all the left over pizza at the end of the night. It was awesome, except for the bow-tie. haha

The only normal job I ever held was Whataburger in Austin, TX for about 2 months in 2004. Mostly I have focused on music and later, this Navy bullshit.

Busboy in a banquet hall, Lots of dirty plates and heavy trays, and 10% of the waitresses tips. Jobs like that define " WORK " as a four letter word.

My first real job was working for a tow company as there lot boy. Basically I worked at sweeping the storage lot, washing the trucks and cleaning up after the two German shepherd guard dogs.

It was a large company with 12 trucks and we did the city impound as well, I worked all summer and earned enough to buy one of the cars from the impound as my first car....even tho I was only 15.

At the age of 14 I got a summer job bagging groceries at the Minimax grocery store in La Porte, TX. I earned a princely $2.645 per hour plus tips, and I thought I was king of the world. 8)

in the '70's, i was 15, dutch elm disease was killing trees and my cousin got a city contract to cut down a few hundred trees in the city, loading logs by hand onto dump trucks, draggin' limbs and braches into the chipper, raking / sweeping the streets and side walks, thought I'd die the first day, after that enjoyed whistlin' at the pretty girls walkin down the street, the older guys did more than whistle.

Ah, my first job...

Waiter at Pizzeria Reginas in Boston. Let me tell you, great management, cool coworkers, and I would invite girls I liked to the pizza shop, and have dates with them right there after my shift... ah the good ol' days of a struggling teen, haha

My Mom was the manager at a furniture/appliance store and I helped unload the trucks when they brought stock.

Other than working in my parents vineyard, my first "real" job was working at a local video store. Ahh...the days of VHS.

I was the handyman at a Window and Door factory. I did just about everything. It was a small place with only a few employees. I painted the building inside and out, did all the janitor work, and helped the owner with plumbing on his rental properties. I joined the Air Force after a few months and worked on the weapons system in fighters and bombers. Now I'm a Network Engineer.

Caddying at local country club.

It was "great fun" (read: sucked elephant d**k) to see kids from grade school a few years before, golfing with their member-dads...and carry their clubs.

Provided $$ though to buy first guitar, a Harmony H-78 Jazzmaster sorta-look-ish alike-oid and 3-tube amp for $69.95.
