...I had the chance to play an Irish Falcon over the weekend and I'm over the moon for the guitar. I must find one. I'll settle on a White Falcon, but that Irish Falcon was sublime.

The Goal is Soul.

I am a diehard Strat/Tele man as all my buddies here know, but...for our 6th anniversary my wife bought me a Gretsch 5120 in Gretsch Orange...WOW it plays like butter and sounds so sweet! The great thing...it is in the FMIC so I don't feel bad one bit. I got to play an Irish Falcon and it is an amazing guitar!!!
ABS :D

I could easily be nudged over the top and start heavy gassing over that there falcon! Are they hugely pricey?

YES YES YES! That's the one. 'm having a hard time locating one to buy,and Gretsch doesn't have a custom shop that I can see, I might have to get a 6136 Falcon and get it refinished and worked on :'(

Only a Gretsch can sound like a Gretsch,I have a 66 Tennessean Chet Atkins model like George Harrison used on the early Beatles albums and their hardly is a sound sweeter than a Tennessean or any Gretsch through an AC 30.

Nice. Anyone played the 6136 Falcon vs. the 7593?
