Remember when even the most modest of the every day utilitary objects were made there...

...or in Canada, it was cool too. Built to last and flawless.

Well, I remember when riding a Motorcycle was considered dangerous and casual sex was fun and safe.

Kinda gone the other way these days, i ride a motorcycle, but I will keep the wife.

remember when you could leave the house and head off to the "strip mall" and leave your doors and windows wide open.
it was ok to do so because if anybody happened by the folks next door where watching after your place out of habit and good nature.
now you have to double bolt because of the folks that live next door to you.

when you couldn't get a job if you were female or a minority
you were risking your life by declaring your sexuality
people lynched you for being the wrong color
Remember Polio?
Prejudices, segregation, racism, homophobia, mccarthyism, the threat of constant nuclear war?
Life wasn't so great if you were black, female or !@$

Perspective is a mother $@!&#*.

 wooaaahhhh... I feel like this is taking way too serious of a turn

Everyone is going to have their own struggles throughout there lifetime.
Even white people too, not just blacks, females, or whatever !@$ means.

Just imagine years from now a new generation will log on to some forum and be like:

Remember when you couldn't walk down your school hallwaywithout having people throw gangsigns at you?

How about when you couldn't walk down a single street without some dude trying to get some money from you because "their car broke down a couple miles back?"

Remember the Avian Flu or the Swine Flu?

Remember Katrina or 9/11?

Remember the Reccession?

...Case in point, life is going to have its ups and downs, all we can do is keep pushing forward.
