Mariah Carey was a total hottie in 1990, when she was 20, all natural. Man was she smokin' in 1990. I was 15. The only woman hotter at that time was my Spanish teacher.

One night while watching "Gun Smoke" on our first black and white TV, Matt Dillon another cowboy were facing off and quickly drew their guns. Just as Dillon shot directly toward the camera, our TV took on a weird purple glow and let out a little puff of smoke almost as if he had killed the TV. We laughed over that one for a long time after having the TV repaired.

I bought a new Super Reverb in 1974. 299.99. Bought a blackface DR at a studio liquidation sale for 100.00. Still have the DR. Ex has it as a settlement. I can visit itanytime I want. We are friends. Sits in Woodstock, NY.

I remember 1947/8, setting on the porch with my Grandpa. He had a bowl with a cold biscuit an onion and a big glass of cold Buttermilk . I'd set real close to him and listen to him pick and thump on his old flat top. every once in a while he'd take a bite of onion and biscuit, then wash it down with a swig of buttermilk. he would offer me the same, then go back to picking. Grandpa never sang many songs, but he would hum along some times. at that time grandpa was in his 60's and had no teeth. He wore bibbed overalls with a shirt tucked in and a pair of brogans. He often sported a short scruffy beard. It was during that time that I began my love for guitars and their music.

In the late '50's I remember when Fender offered the Telecaster, Esquire, DuoSonic, Musicman, Stratocaster, P-Bass, and a sprinkling of steel guitars. Strats were trem, hardtail, went from 2SB>3SB around '58; had gold hardware and a few custom colors as options, as well as an LH option. Then came the Jazzmaster and drooooool.
