All the convenience stores had the TV tube testers, and the replacement tubes to replace the bad one. The convenience stores in south FL were wide open with no A/C. When they closed, they had big sliding doors. The Cokes were on ice in the big ice bins.

SUNN amps were made in Oregon.

That's just crazy--I love ceiling fans.

I don't remember that--well except for the standard tuning. It's only been the last 2 or 3 years I've done anything outside of standard.

I remember having only one guitar and one amp--but I don't remember only needing one of each...

:D

And 2/60 air conditioning. Two windows down / 60mph. One paper cone 6x9 speaker in the metal dashboard.

the vacuum store is a lot like the guitar store. but they do not attract the same clientele as the guitar store, cause if they did, the vacuum store would be loaded with a bunch of broke guys who just wanted to run the new vacuums.

In 60's, South Florida the radio in the car was tuned to AM 560 WQAM out of Miami. The main DJ was Rick Shaw. From 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM. He closed out every night with, "Good Night My Love".

Front bench seats, bucket seats were optional on some models, as were seat belts. Not all cars had passenger side rearview mirrors either.
