Hell, ABS......most radio stations don't even have "DJ's" anymore. They run syndicated-and-canned shows taped months in advance via satelite feeds.

Sad......

When a Hummer wasn't a yuppie gas guzzling SUV

When an SUV was just another truck and didn't need a special code.

When your parents made you get up and leave the house all day because it was "nice out" at like 7 am and expected you to be home when the street lights came on, but could have cared less where you went as long as the cops didn't bring you home.

Nobody complained if you dubbed a tape from a friend or the radio, most of the time they made it for you.

You rented movies so you could tape them.

The only place that had a cell phone was the JAIL and god forbid you called your parents from one.

Cars and trucks where made from a metal called STEEL

remember when a movie ticket cost $0.50 and on Saturdays if you went early for the matinee it was $0.25 and you could stay there all day. oh yeah and popcorn was $0.10, $0.15 if you wanted butter, one size, large.

At work yesterday we were talking about the days when ushers with torches would check your tickets and show you to your seat at the movies
