Sounds like a good deal depending, of course, on condition.

I mean decent in all the best ways, it has the Vintage Noiseless pups, which sound terriffic, and the crimson transparent finish is gorgeous, I just don't like the gold harware, at all.

lol the red and gold is what got my attention on this guitar.
im looking for a gig worthy guitar thats a great match for my
very lovable GC exclusive tele. (love that damn thing)
something i can beat up, experiment with, and not have to worry
about falling short on the job night after night.

Location: In a house....unless I'm at work....then I'm in a shop.
I have had a chance to play one off the wall at GC, it was after I had bought my Sunfire MIM, it plays as well as it does, but the pick ups are good and quite.

I think they were asking 599.99 for it new, and I would have gotten it over my Sunfire for the quietness.

But I still love my guitar because of the color.

It felt comfortable, as to sound, unlike some that go to GC, I do not crank the amp while there. The pick-up played as well as any other noiseless Fender, if you like them, then it's all good. I think it looses something, a crispness or snap if you will, but everyone's ears are different.

As to Industrial strength......it's well built.

It's good to know it has a maple board, hate to have you get one of them there "Too Much Sizzle" guitars.

As to the pick guard, I was thinking a aged white pearl one (It has a light gold color that would look great with the gold hardware and red color).

Hi I have the Sapphire Blue w/ RW fingerboard and absolutely love it but mine has aged even nicer to a blue/green colour which is awesome. Surprisingly, it isbrighter than my MIM 50th Anniv. Strat (the gold one) which is the perfect partner and long lost twin to my Baja Tele - the Player may get a wee bit more play when the Clapton boost is fitted, just to tame the Rickenbacker jangle of the FVNs and the ash body  and may have to think about replacing the tortie plate with a nice vintage mint green one - love the bridge/neck combination too and use it loads!
