if this guy could learn to keep his mouth shut, he could play for a few more years. but, he can't and won't. he is a talented athlete with a huge ego and even bigger mouth. i really can't see him and ocho cinco sharing the spotlight.
i love pro sports but these days the mouth thing is really turning me off. give me half the paycheck and i'll not only play my butt off, but i'll mow the grass, do the dishes, wash some cars and paint some houses. all the while, i'll keep my mouth shut.
some of these dudes just don't realize how much they've been blessed. just play hard, stay out of trouble, keep your mouth shut and cash the check.
maybe i'm just old.

I heard that Cincy was interested in T.O. and I immediatly felt sorry for Carson Palmer. It should be a circus this year for them. I am a Raider fan so it would be nice to see another team draw the attention for stupid acts for a change.

Being a Bills fan, I'm happy he is now the bengals problem. Good luck to Cinncinati.

Jeebus I was thinking the same thing about TO and ocho cinco. do you think they can go the whole season without starting the hating on each other? I doubt it. 8)

A talent that no one wants. Its awful that he plays with these one year contracts now because of the on field antics. At least he has talent still.

The Ravens lost one of there second round picks (Kindle) do to a fall down two flights of stairs. He may never play football again. One thing they never had him under contract yet so he has lost big money.

Yup, Palmer's career is over now. TO and Ocho will run him out of town and be petitioning for Mike Vick to QB the Bengals by week 7.

I'm a 49er fan, and I was glad to see the Niners get rid of him.

I think Owens will actually be a nice addition for Cincinatti. I believe he still has some gas left in the ol' tank, and for a $2 million, one year contract, the Bengals aren't risking all that much.

It's true that T.O. didn't have a very productive season here in Buffalo last year, but he was playing in a terrible offense with a couple lousy quarterbacks and one of the worst head coaches in recent history. I think playing with Carson Palmer will help boost his production.

As an Eagles fan, and as someone who lived in Ohio for 6.5 years, I really feel sorry for the Bengals fans. T-O = the first two letters of TOXIC.

Agreed. I felt real bad for how he treated Garcia. Most people focus on the latter McNabb fiasco, but it was just as bad for Garcia. And Garcia was a class act all throughout the circus.

Yep......he treated Garcia like dirt. Most Niners fans were glad to see him go. He's caused damage on every team he's played with. Not his playing, but his attitude.

I felt the same about Ricky Waters. I was glad to see him go too.

Agreed. He could have been a truly great player if he had the right attitude and could shut his mouth for five minutes.
