I wish I could tell ya way cool jr, but I couldn't even put the link in properly. most of them link into you tube if you double click. I just bought a sub woofer and some better speakers (powered) for my computer. The only thing about that is I get a hum from being too close to my computer screen. I guess I need to do something about that.

I have used the software that is available at the site. very easy. just hit record and it outputs the file to an mp3. I think you set your preference to output as an mp3 as oppose to wav.
with respect to mp3 to cd, you need a cd burning software to make audio cd's. If you computer has a cd burner, it should be able to make an audio cd with software already installed on your computer. There are plenty of free software that allows you to make an audio cd from mp3 files. Even newer windows media players can burn a cd from mp3's

i'll hae to look into it. im not the best with computer stuff like that.
when i stopped playing 15 yrs ago 8track recorders/studios were all the rage. i get back into playing this yr and now folks are using their computers and nobody wants the portastudios.
WTF? wait until i start posting questions about what they are using and how they doing the recording? :P i'll get booted from the forums i bet lol.

check out www.jamstudio.com - it's a web based site where you can select the instruments, punch in the chords and make your own backers.
