sweet buy man, i've heard those guitars are awesme 8)

You've got a epiphone SG yeah? I just played mine for a quick 10 minuts, and man, the tone was good but it was uncomfotable as hell when your standing up. Can you give me some tips man? like how low do you have it etc. Cause i cant play it without my hand spasming up after like 10 seconds.

riley , somepoeple like it sitting just about waist hight (me) and others like them much higher (angus, santana) you might just need to experiment with the hight the sg sits at to get it comfy for you mate, for example my sg sits a good bit lower than my strat . hth mate

A young Bro has a habit of bringing his Dot to the pawnshop every couple of months and then picks up after a month or so, I usually go once over the guitars when I'm there and the Dot is a dream to play so many sounds as a recording instrument it may not have a match except maybe the Gibson ES-345 Stereo Varitone.

here.s a few pics of the new dot , the only thing i've done to it so far is swap out the original buzzing bridge for a gotoh bridge ,much better sound transference with these units 8) , in the coming weeks i'll get the electrics done and i might stick in a set of the iron gear blues engine pups , i have them on my epi lp and they sound excellent :D anyway , to the pics :D

as you can see theres not a mark on it 8) and day by day the sound is getting better , i'm leaving it sitting on a stand and playing it for several hours a day , and making small adjustments to get it where i want it 8) . If anyone is thinking about a semi-hollow bodied guitar , pick one of these up , you will not be disapointed at all :) cheers
Alan

Very Nice! I like the sunburst finish. Thats a beautiful instrument. The Dot I picked up is just as clean, But it is ebony. I like the sunburst finish much more. Enjoy, 8)

Wow that's a beaut! Certainly on my guitar bucket list. I only own one epi, but it's around 46 years old, and I still play it frequently.
