I think it is ridiculous to think the only good guitar is a Fender and thats the only one worth owning. Very limited thinking.

I never said that CV, I hope you are not inferring that this was what I said.

Sorry but thats what it sounded like. To say that Fender is the only thing that feels right in your hands you no. Thats what you said. There are many makers that make and have made strat similar guitars that you could never tell the difference in feel from a Fender strat. I have a friend that has Tokia's that I know you would not tell one from the over. Then I ask which Fender's are the only ones that feel right to you C, D, V, Soft V, 7 1/4, 9 1/2, 12 radius. It seems more of a name thing to some then anything else.

Ok, first off, I have been playing for the better part of 35 years. In that time as I stated earlier I have had everything form Gibsons to ESP to Fender. The only other guitar besides Fenders that feel right in my hands are Gretsch's. I love the feel of C necks and the 9.5 neck raidus. To try and tell me what feels right in MY hands..well..IMO that is ridiculous. As for the name thing...nope...not here. I am not in the group of name snobs. If this comes off as an attack at you it is not intended to it is just illiustrating what feels right in my hands and to my ears :)

Thats cool , then what you mean is that only Fender C neck 9.5 radius guitars feel good to you. Not just all Fenders feel good because the Fender name, then but for some Gretsch which is now Fender.
Been doing that 40 year playing thing Myself, first was a Fender Strat at ten. Still iIts odd that you like the Gretsch guitars which are 12" radius mostly and very Gibson like necks.

Bingo!! You got across what I didn't articulate very well..:) Wow, I sounded like a politician with that one...LOL it is strange that the Gretsch 1" raidus feels good thought. It might have something to do with the fact that it was an anniversary present from my wife..:) I wish I could bond with Gibbys...the LP I used to have was so gorgeous and sounded really nice...It just felt so uncomfortable to play..:(

Although I have more Fenders than any other brand I love the variation in sounds that other guitars can create and changing guitars every few days keeps you on your toes so you don't get so bogged down that if a situation arises where you have no other choice but play another brand or type you won't be lost.Getting too comfortable with only one guitar can cramp your style.

I have a cramped style I guess...since I've only played Strats for the last 20 years or so....even so,the blues just keep sounding better....maybe it's because I have the blues so bad because I only play Fender guitars through those old Fender amps. :)

Gott admit Fenders feel really comfy to play, especially Strat-Jaguar-Jazzmaster types.

For pure cuddliness, in this opinion, the only other axe in that league is an SG.
