He's fine Bill. I believe that he's gone back to full time employment and his spare time(if any) has been consumed with gigging and projects with his band. Still, it would be nice if he would check in with his friends here on the forum from time to time!

Niki is gigging with his band " The Side Valves", you can catch up with him on face book, not to worry he is as handsome and intelligent as always, and, like a fine wine, just keeps getting better with age

I hear Nik finished his amp build as well… hopefully get an update and a good tone report when he gets a spare minute to drop in on us here.

Bill, here is a note that I got from Niki, hope the Bro doesn't mind lol

"No time anymore mate, I'm sorry to say. I'm working every hour I can stay upright. The band is doing good and the amp is finished. it's very much like the superbass you used to have. First chance I got I plugged our bassists Hagstrom in and let rip with ace of spades. Very convincing sound"

I want to test drive that rig

Saw that on fbook too man. Ninja is busy in the good way. Just like myself lately which is why I haven't posted much but Nick is a staple of this place and being back is weird without him.

Best of luck to him. The finest gent I have never met.

+1

Tis a shame, as I thoroughly enjoyed Nik’s posts. He is indeed a top chap!

I totally understand the “being busy” situation though. My job has gone from repetitive monotony to hardcore project management in the space of a month! Though I find having a little browse of the forum is a nice way to de-stress as I’ve had very little time to make any progress on my build (might get a bit of time this weekend to get stuck in for a few hours!)

Stay Frosty!

Andy
