The hell with all this legislative crap. Just give both countries entirely over to the drug cartels. Get some really good s--t to blow,l some awesome brew, some hot babes, turn on some "Pink Floyd" and party. 8) Hell....that's about where they come to already. The Federal effort is about as good as a prepunctured condom in the pocket of a horny fourteen year-old boy. The way I see it, some napalm and Agent Orange, strategically placed, and the deed is done. 8)

Every country in the world has laws regarding immigration. If I was in some country in Europe and came into contact with police, it would take them about 2 seconds to realize I was an American. They would probably ask for some paperwork and I wouldnt be offended. If I snuck into the country illegally I would probably have some explaining to do. This is no different.

I went to Catholic school up to 2nd grade and when ever us boys got in trouble the Nun would take us to Mother Superior's office to get paddled unless we got caught by 1 of the Brothers, then you would get roughed up a bit. When ever the girls did some thing troublesome and got caught they would immediately start to cry so they wouldn't get paddled. 1 of the cooler Nuns would tell the girls to stop faking it, that they were crying "crocodile tears". Every time I watch the illegal immigrants and their children crying for the camera's I wish that cool Nun was around. Those people know that American's are suckers after they 'planned' to break the law coming here, they know how severe the laws are in their country that is why they are here, for the most part I find them selfish liars (as are most of the politicians in DC which would be why those politicians pretend to be on the side of the illegal aliens, like minded people think alike), after all a good portion of the money they get here goes right back to Mexico, whatever they spend here for living expenses they do grudgingly and shop mostly in stores in those strongholds that they have created here, they are clickish purposely not speaking the American language because they don't want anyone who isn't Spanish speaking to understand them, they have no respect what-so-ever for this country or it's people. When my Mom came to this country with her family they couldn't wait to become citizens and did everything right to accomplish that goal. These illegal immigrants here now are heartless and will never leave and will never try to do things the right or lawful way, and, there isn't anything anyone can do about it. Welcome to America drug dealers, vandals, thieves, murderers and your wives and children. Oh yeah and thanks for breaking the laws here instead of in your own country.

Did I cover the subject OK? Was it a rant or just a soapbox moment?

Thanks Bro, Hyde Park on a Sunday morning soapboxes everywhere, that was people of different types with different opinions on different things you could listen for some time and still not get to them all, and, after reading that post again, it reads a bit exasperated.

Not much ore to say about the law now, the Federal Government took care of that. I wonder if the Federal Government will enforce the laws they passed. Of course if they did, Arizona would not have had to pass their own law.

Again, I am not against immigrants that are here legally or have gone through the process of becoming a citizen, I just do not like the ones here illegally causing problems.

All this just make my blood boil and wonder why I stay in the armed forces when we no longer worry about what is right for our citizens...we worry more about illegal's rights...might be time to retire anbd go to the mountains!

I'm already there, ABS -- the Huachuca Mountains.

One thing the illegals are fond of doing is to start a forest fire in one area and wait for all the first responders, police, fire, border patrol etc to deploy there. Then they sneak across another undefended part of the county. A lot of homeowners and ranchers have been totally burned out in this manner but you'll never hear that from the lame-stream media. I'm now strapped 24/7/365.

Have to do something. It doesn't seem to mean anything folks are entering illegally breaking that law.

jeffo46, thanks for posting this, I knew other countries laws were harsher than the USA laws, not harsher, way harsher!

For an European perspective the negative reaction to the Arizona law is odd.
In most EU countries you are required to identify you self and what country you are from. I have been in Germany several times, and was stopped by the police and asked for an ID and proof of being from a Schengen country. I wasent angry at all, and this only seems natural to me. Also in most (perhaps all) hiering ilegal aliens for work is illegal.

Thanks for posting. It helps to know that other countries have sensible and responsible immigration laws and that the people in those countries follow them because it is civilized behavior to do so.
