Damn OS 10.5 and their stupid permissions just hosed two boxes and are now in a restart loop. Won't even boot off the OS disk or allow me to repair permissions...

Apple is going down the same path as Microsoft with their Snow Leopard OS.
I know I am not upgrading my Leopard OS any time soon.

These are two FCP systems i'm building for clients. Finally got the OS to start reinstalling as a backup while i wait for clones of system drives to arrive from other location. I post from my work computer. I suppose i should have posted in the "mindless blather thread"

We upgraded the Protools rooms to Snow Leapord but on a dual boot set up... don't think the mixers have made the plunge yet.

Being new this past year using Mac's I can't say they are anywhere near the crap you have with a PC. My Imac and Mac Book are way better then My PC and laptop running XP Pro.
