Hey guys,

so today i was off in an old music store with my grandfather and came across an old charvel with tweed hardcase, it was yellow with a sort of wave burst going through the whole body, had 2 jackson single coil pickups and a jackson humbucker....

so i was wondering if i could get some info on the guitar but unfortunently i have only a picture which isent the greatest quality as its from the stores website but ill drop the link below. The guitar is about a quarter of the way down the page on the left hand side and is priced at 4500 Swedish Krona which is about $600. the only damange to the guitar was mild buckle rash otherwise she was a beauty and a real player too, although i dident plug her into an amp at the time.

http://www.mamut.net/ludwigs/subdet68.htm

so if you guys could drop me some info on the guitar, as im sure there are some people here with knowledge of Charvel guitars, i noticed on the neck plate that it was stamped 'ft myr, texas' along with other stuff which i cannot remember.

any info in where the guitar was made, possibly what years it was in production and how much it would be worth.

feedback much appreciated,

Larsson

by the way, my old charvel is a beast. wouldn't sell it for a million bucks.

80's charvel's and jackson'a were the bomb.
some of the best guitars made in my opinion.
charvel, jackson, and kramer rules the 80's.

Wish I still had my Series10 from the 80s... sure not as good as a Charvel but it was a fun guitar. Had I known about modding guitars i would a kept it and swapped the pups which is why i traded it.

silly me

im just not so sure about them since fender too over. they just dont look them same. the headstock change is garbage, the old one is way cooler looking. i havent played one yet. still wouldnt buy it because of the looks alone.

you know, mine has the exact same pu configuration. i think it's a model 4 but i don't remember what the charvel dude told me. i've had it for about 15 years and bought it for 200 bucks from a guy who only liked strats. he said he bought it cuz it was a good deal but never played it. need pics.
i agree with waycool, the old charvels are great. i've abused this one and will continue to do so. it's my number 1 even though i play my strats in my band. it is very versatile and it plays as good as it sounds. the neck, for me, is flawless. i've never had one issue with it and only had 1 setup done on it. you could bury this guitar for a couple years and dig it up and it would be in tune. it's that solid.
alright. i'm thru talking about it.

yeah i might have to jump on this one bro if it plays nice. $600 is a nice price for a exceptional guitar.
plan on buying all new string blocks though.
thats the little black blocks in the trem and locking nut that
you see where the string slides in.
they are cheap and might be worn down. sweet guitar find here.
if you dont like it i'll take it.
