orange crush 35 watt

or I keep saving and get a marshall haze.

Your input would help.

Riley, those are 2 of my favorite amplifier manufacturers, Orange amps are built like tanks with plenty of good sound qualities as well. The Orange is small enough to use at home and big enough to use at rehearsals. This is a keeper and will probably last forever. Have fun and post pics and vids when you can 8)

I'd go Orange.... as much as I like Marshall but the Orange just seems like the better choice at this point in my opinion

Before you lay the money down on either amp, I would suggest you try a Peavey Classic 30 112 or better yet a Peavey Delta Blues 210.

Two channels all tube tone the the delta has a tremolo built in and is footswitchable.

There very very well built and hard to beat for the money.

For me, I had a similiar battle: Marshal Haze vs. Fender Deluxe (and then later, VM vs. Hot Rod)

I went for the Hot Rod Deluxe. I saw a video that made it seem like the more you turned up the Marshal the more distorted it got. I didn't want that, I wanted the possibility of a good clean tone. So, I narrowed it down to the HRD, because of its' two inputs, three channels, awsome clean tone, and power.

It's a good one. I'm not sure if it really was the best one for me, but it's the only one I could really try out. I bought it because a shop near me had one, and I used it because it seemed to have excellent tone. It does. I'm happy with it and may get an extension cab if I ever need to.

I have an MG100FX and it's average at best. I owned an Orange a few years ago and I loved it. If I had the means to do it I would get rid of this MG asap and go back to the Orange.

dont you do it. doooooont you do it.
DO NOT go messin with that rebel20. yeah 63supro tried that very same crap with me. "go check out the egnator you'll love it" he said.
oh yeah, i went, i went and looked at it. yes i had to plug into it just because 63supro said so. oh yeah i had to turn it up a bit, yeah just because 63supro suggest it. oh yeah i had to play with the mix knob. yep just because i figured 63supro knew what he was talking about.
oh yeah i came, i saw, and ive been going back every freakin chance i get
dang it. it calls me in the middle of the night when im trying to sleep. it calls me at work when im trying to do my job.
it ties little signs on itself to let me know that i too can lay it away if i should so choose to do so. that damn thing has me plotting with myself, new plans, new ideas. yep i had it all figured out then came 63supro.
oh sure 63supro has set my tone world upside down
with his little "go check out the egnator" suggestions too.
DONT YOU DO IT. dont do that to yourself.
seek professional help before you go looksee.
or just go by the bank before you go look into this madness,
pull the trigger and go home a very happy man.

Please let me know what you think of the Orange after you spend some quality time with it. That 35w orange crate is the EXACT one i am planning on buying. I would love to hear your thoughts
