Yesterday afternoon I got together with my long lost buddy that I mentioned a few days ago and some friends of his at his parent's garage just down the lane from me.The guys got a chuckle when I strolled into the garage with my gear towing behind me in my little garden wagon-it was too much to carry and not worth loading up the car to drive a couple of hundred feet down the lane.Anyway we had a great jam, there were 4 guitars,a bass,a drummer and a great blues harp player. We did a lot of Neil Young covers as the guy on acoustic could nail Neil Young's voice dead on,some CCR covers and I did Red House by Jimi of course. It all went so well as for the first jamming- we got a great rapport going -that we agreed to make it a weekly thing. It was the first time that I jammed with a full band set up in over 17 yrs and it felt great except for the pain in my hands that's constantly plaguing me.

Rawk on, GS!

Take your camera along next "session". Twenty or thirty years from now you'll view those pics as priceless.

guitslinger, glad you got a good jam in, sounds like you had fun, sorry the pain in your hands is still there hopefully that pain will stop. Weekly jamming is super cool. Keep us in the know on you and your jamming Bros progress.
