This came up in a conversation recently. If you like Pizza (and I think that most do), do you prefer Deep Dish (Chicago style) or Thin Crust (NY style) , or something else ?

This poll will run for six days and should be interesting to see the final results as pizza is considered a great "comfort food" for some people.

Can't beat thin crust.

Bur I am also an advocate of the theory that bad pizza does not exist. There is only pizza, and good pizza.

Being a native New Yorker, I've been having the New York vs. Chicago argument most of my life.

The best pizza in the world is made in Brooklyn. Period.

That deep dish pie they make in Chicago isn't a pizza, it's a round calzone.

Pizza is natures perfect food. All the major food groups are represented.

Dogs love pizza. Need I say anything more?

It is the best "roadfood" you can get and it makes for a great snack at almost anytime and/or place.

Proper thin and crispy italian base.

Deep Dish is nice though, but really doughy bases are too much.

I like my pizza the same way I like my Blues -- Chicago-style.

Thin crust is too, thin. And deep dish is too saucy. I prefer the classic Hand Tossed Italian Pizza instead.

Agreed. REAL pizza is made Italian style and hasn't much more than a passing relationship to New York OR Chicago style pizza. They're both posers!

I don't care for pizza, too much fat. But if I eat it I have to have thin crust. Best pizza I've had was in L.A at this quaint little Northern Italian restaurant.
