VERY nice Phil!

Love the LP too. Jealous is a risin!

Tell us about your CS then. What less traditional greatness do you have coming your way?

CC

Thanks a lot CC. I have spent months toiling over the CS build once I found out it was even an option. What the hell, nobody knows me so here's a goofy riddle to tell most of the specs of the guitar. (A-in france who has the most amazing collection of Fenders I have ever seen makes people guess his new acquisitions - from previous posts I've seen since I recently joined). I'm not making any comparisons, just looks like fun.
It's obviously a slow day at work.

A-infrance has one of a different style
He made people guess, some thought it vile
Not art but wood is the unifying factor
The wood is different and is a difficult actor

Eric Johnson's has a feature - quite unique
Some people hate it, to others it's chic

The headstock new, the logo classic
The pickups obese and slightly jurassic

No pickguard to hide the finish
Not shiny but also not blandish.

What is it?

Hi Bill and thanks. I hail from Jacksonville. Went to Fayettenam for College then Little Rock. Mom and sis still in Little Rock. I moved to San Francisco in 91 and recently to SoCal but still go home to visit at least yearly. Go Hogs. Steve Evans at J'ville guitar is a friend and his store is fantastic.

Cool!, forumite jayro, and I are from the Mountain Home area. Give us a heads up on your next visit, were always looking for new folks to jam with.

Bill

Welcome! Nice guitars, by the way! I take it that the unique feature is a bound fretboard and the obese, slightly jurassic pickups are soapbars/P-90's???

Half right. I'm pretty sure it'll be a one off. Hoping so anyway.

Small world. I have a good friend/colleague in Mountain Home. From memory is that where the big Bluegrass festival is held? Beautiful country there.
