i like the roast beef rainbow better.
i think its the bass player in this one.
you cant hardly hear the bass solo muchless when everybody is playing.
tell him to mic it or hike it lol.
that RB rainbow song has a smooth feel going on with it.

Yes. Can't hear the bass in the video. My next gig I'm going to experiment with mic placement. See if I can get the bass to come out on the recording. Believe it or not the bass was plenty loud in the room..... but something about recording the bass, it's always hard to pick up.

Roast Beef Rainbow is one of my tunes from a while back. The beginning lick in that song is in 7. A fast 7......

I would be very must interested in hearing you as the threesome (You the drummer and the bass player).

To me, the sax was way over the top and disjointed the whole song.

Just an opinion.

Jeff is an amazing bassist. Too bad he didn't come out louder. He plays electric too. I like his arcing on upright... so I asked him for that.

We were playing an art gallery... so our avant-garde side came to the fore.
