I only use this screenname on this site, and when i first signed up to the forums, I picked the first name that I thought of that was a little weird,and added my year of birth.

when i worked for a distributor of Dean Guitars and Nordlead Keyboards, the guy that worked in the Nord department called me captainc. Jake... if your reading this, it has stuck ever since.

Actually that reminded me of a funny story not to get all nostalgic on you folks. But Jake was putting in a lunch order at the deli so everyone had to write down what we wanted on our subs. To eff him up I wrote down turkey, cheese lettuce, tomato and AFRICAN AMERICAN OLIVES. He didn't catch it so when he was ordering he read right over that and the woman on the phone asked him if he had some sort of problem... he said no i'd like AFRICAN AMERICAN OLIVES. It was a funny exchange til he realized what i did. My sandwich probably had a loogey on it but it was long ago and so very funny. At least i thought so...

now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Wish I could say the captain is of Military value but I did not opt to join the military much to my partial regret.
