I took Spanish last semester (I'm a little white guy) and I got hooked on it. "Muchacho" is guy in Spanish, and of course I love Strats!

Well mine will require the use of a Buck Rogers decoder ring.

Ok, I will walk you'all through this....

I am a ASE master tech, and I specialize in tune-up and computer diagnostics, not to blow my own horn, but I have been told I am good at what i do, so much so that when the cars no one else can fix come in the shop (Or get sent to me from other shops) they started to called these cars "Jeffytunes", as Jeffy was going to get stuck, I mean was the one who was going to get it assigned to him to tune it up.

Kinda of a running joke for years, then I got on line, and well it is a nick name I earned so I use it, I even go by "JT" in real life.
It also made since being the first forum I was on was the Peavey forum, and I play guitar.

So there you have it.

I suppose the "retro" stems from the fact that I have absolutely no interest or affinity for any Fender guitar built after 1965 nor any Fender amp built after 1970. "Back in the day", one bought a Fender Stratocaster, strung it up with his or her favorite nickel-silver filaments (usually Fender 150L's or Ernie Ball Slinkies), plugged it into a hand-wired Fender tube amp and ROCKED! The guitars looked, played, and sounded great and the amps were loud, dependable, and worth every penny that they cost. No modding, no tweaking, no hand-massaging. They just plain worked......the best guitars and amps on the planet!

Period, end of story, nothing follows.

Arjay

Nonni means the same thing in Icelandic as Johnny in english. The G stands for the first letter in both my middle and last name.

Well....we've actually been down this road before, long time passing, but for the helluvit,......the moniker was laid on me by a patient years ago upon learning that I was a 'player' of long standing with preference for the blues. I suppose the beard and the longish hair did something for his impression as well. I recently asked Brad to change font for me from lower case, to include caps and bold italics. What you have there now is the best he could offer.8)
Doc
