LVA, who the eff cares what a little guitar weighs?

Just be gald you didn't carry or don't carry an M14 rifle and pack all day, 40 years ago or M16A2 or M4 and pack and body armour, now.

Peace and love.

JSJH, I was the worst at that in my first 4 years I'm guessing that's why I was in supply Bro.

I almost forgot, LVA, the Squires are about the lightest guitars around, their tone and sustain qualities rival their big sisters (sibling rivalry) in a guitar lovers hands. If you feel like, after a while put some Lace Sensors in that Squire.

If that simple question bothers you then don't respond thank you very much.

I lift around my quadriplegic father right now because most of the world won't work or are compassionate enough to help out with him who was a former USAF (thank god for the very few who are helping us right now). I've been threatened with weapons, stalked, beaten, and tormented. I've got more balls than lots of guys thank you very much. If you're suggesting I'm some sort of wimp because I don't want to end up paralyzed or have permanent back injury due to a work related incident where they forced me back to work or get fired, then think again.

God Bless.

Like Guitslinger said, weigh yourself with and without the guitar and do the math. Guitar weights vary depending on body wood type and density.

It always surprises me when people talk about guitars being "heavy". If the danged thing is "slung" correctly (ie: your not wearing it down around your freaking knees) and you're otherwise physically sound, an additional 10 lbs or so shouldn't be a hardship.

If it is, get your sorry arse a set of dumbells and get a bit more fit :D

One easy way to check the weight is to weigh yourself on your bathroom scales and then weigh yourself holding the guitar-the difference will be the weight of the guitar-that's if your scales are accurate.

Thats a perfect way. It's the same way I weigh my dogs. :D

Hi LVA, try one of these. They were chambered to reduce the weight.

That Tele is a semi-hollow body axe. It's a bit different than a chambered guitar.

alder bodied guitars are light, well either a 3/4 sized alder bodied guitar would be a little lighter but then again its a little smaller, for a Squier since its Alder and Agathis combined, IMO a Fender Strat which is pure alder would be a little lighter
