dude! finally something we can agree on here. this is about the same way i would do it but only i use the dunlops nylon's as my main.
you can really tell the difference in a tone on a acoustic when you play
with a red VS a orange while strumming. i do highly agree with the reds on this too. just the order i would list these. didnt think i would ever see someone agree with my selection choices.

i find the yellow's the best for acoustic, anyone agree?? But, the red ones good aswell but its just a bit to thin. At the moment im using red for electric.

I am using a combination of Dunlop Nylon 0.88 mm pics, Dunlop Jazz III's, and V-pics. Although I love the V-pics, I am not fond of the price. Since I am prone to losing pics, I just use the cheaper ones and reserve the V-pics for special occasions.

Fingers, Red Bear Heavy D for quieter picked passages (almost a compressed sound), Wegen Gypsy Jazz or Twins picks for more aggressive or just plain louder stuff. The Wegens are about 2mm thick.

Dava grips, nylon with a rubber coating over the majority bar the tip, doesn't slip around in your fingers

dunlop .73. .88

Im using skateboard grip tape to have a grip on the pick .. i cant play if i dont have that . only solution i found to the slip .

it works wonder .

so in the end all the pick feel the same .. grip tape feel . but i love it . once in a while , when the grip tape is starting to loose is grip i change the grip tape on the pick and cut a new piece .

i dont know how people can strum and play with celluloid pick .. theyre so slippy .

That is a smart idea, i used to find any pick very slippery but im used to it now, it rarely falls out of my hands. But i'm gonna try that :)
