just when the guitar starts to really kick in the drummers cymbals drown it out to bad. redo. this time try different mic positions.

i've only got a cheap voice recorder, but it sounds much better through ears, believe me.

Sounds good to me, and it will get better now that you have someone to play along with. it'll make your rhythm better and you'll get more creative and improvise more.

I am currently trying to find a drummer and a bass player around here to jam with but I don't know many musicians

okay, assuming you want honest critique, it does sound muddled...the drums are too loud drowning out the guitar...I would also suggest that before posting you would edit the parts you dont want in there, instead of apologizing for it upfront. I think you are on the right track with what you are doing, you just need to clean the sound up..you might also work a little bit on the timing...sorry if this sounds harsh, that is not the intent. :)

You are doing interesting stuff. Keep experimenting and searching for it and you will find it. You might as well get your voice involved now. Americans love that accent. Learn all you can. :)

Not my kinda music Riley, listened a couple of times, it's great your getting to jam with others and as long as your having a blast thats all that matters, more power to you.

ps not trying to be funny, but can I hear a dog barking in the background :?

Riley,

All I can say is get either a 60 watt Solid State amp or a 15 watt tube amp if you want to keep up with a drummer...but sometimes that isn't even enough.

Your practice amp is just that, a practice amp. Until you upgrade, you will be drowned out by a drummer and a bassist every time.

Definately keep playing with the drummer and look for other musicians to join, pretty soon you will have a band.

invest in some mid quality recording gear as well.
your gonna need it now matter what you do or who your gonna play with.
hell a 4 track or 8 track recorder will do you. it dont have to be top of the line. ride the lightning demo was recorded on a fostex 14-A 4 track if that tells you anything.

Yeah, it's a bit muddled. However, I do like the sound. Dark. My kind of stuff.

Tone the drums a bit and let the guitar scream louder. I agree with the drums overtaking the guitar riffs.

I'm no expert, but I know what I like. It sounds cool. Can't wait to hear more.

looks great, to expensive an i just gotta voice recorder though.

i found on my voice recorder a track where we put it in the bathroom, away from us. its much clearer, you can hear whats going on so we'll put it somewhere far away from us next time.
