Before I post this, I do want to apologize in advance if I am in fact breaking any fender forum rules with this thread. I have such short notice to get the word out, I am spreading the word everywhere! I only hope to help someone find something they have been looking for.

~Daniel

Hey everybody, I wanted to spread the word about an event going on at my store this upcoming Saturday. Sam Ash Music in Richmond, VA will be holding a 1 time only event of the largest collection of unique guitars. In the history of this location we have never had this many previously owned guitars on sale at one time. We will have over 60 guitars, all limited edition guitars from Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker, Taylor, Martin and more. These guitars were from a customers private collection. To our knowledge these guitars have only had 1 previous owner.

The event will be in store in Richmond from open till close 10am-8pm. First come First serve! After this weekend's event, the majority of the remaining guitars will be packed up and sent to New York City. So if you're in the area and want a chance at something unique, please stop by. If you have any questions you can contact us by phone, or just stop by our store.

Sam Ash Music
9110 West Broad Street
Richmond, VA 23294-5805
(804) 967-0707

My name is Dan :)

p.s. I do have a list available upon request, just shoot me an email.

I will definitely stop in on Sunday to see what you have. Although I am sure I couldn't afford any of them. My next guitar purchase will be under $2,300. Might be a few months though :(

My younger bro lives in Hampton Roads, I used to visit regularly. That Chesapeke Tunnel on a Harley is some experience  Just one of my many fond memories of the place 8)

we are really hoping for a big turn out. it's such short notice to have this happen I've done everything I can to get the word out too. I spent all day yesterday just getting prepared for Saturday. We photographed every guitar, and tagged them all. the majority of these guitars look like they have never been played more than once. They mostly all have the original shwag they came with and certificates of authenticity.

The prices range from 1099.99-8999.99. From the phone calls I have made and customers we have talked to we are sure we will sell quite a few of these beauty's this weekend.

spread the word!

Just an update to the community.

We had a wonderful turnout in the store today, out of the 66 original guitars, we now have 53 remaining. We are leaving the collection up on display tomorrow as well.

If you are in Richmond, VA do not miss this opportunity! There are some rare, one of a kind guitars in this collection that have not yet sold!

just to point out a couple of guitars still remaining:
-1 of a kind Gibson Custom J-160E Sunburst "For a John Lennon Fan" Guitar
-Fender relic 1969 Reissue Masterbuilt Tele
-1960 Reissue "John English" Masterbuilt Sonic Blue Stratocaster
-1978 Fender Jazz Bass 4 string Natural in NEAR MINT CONDITION! (not a reissue!)

As before, if you want a list of what is remaining, please call the store at 804-967-0707. We can email you a list and to those not around Richmond, if you have access to a fax machine, we can sell any of these guitars to you and ship it to you. We have pictures of every single guitar available we can send you aswell.

If you call ask for Bryan tell him Dan sent you!

Thank you all!

p.s. my profile on facebook is Darklocke. if you wanna chat i'll be off and on all night.
