Mike, that is an especially hip song and rendition by Frank. Good to bring it up.

Under The Boardwalk - The Drifters

No "Summer" in the title, but definitely a song about summer.

"The Endless Summer" is this picker's all-time personal fave surf tune.

The original 60s version of "The Endless Summer" was played on an ES-355 with Varitone and that goofy sideways vibrato, hardly a surf guitar, rhythm on a Gibson B-25/12 and bass was a thin body Gretsch single pickup.

Was the Jazzmaster on the remake plugged in?
