Im greatful for all the help.

What are the main diffrences between a Strat and a Tele's Tone??

i own both a strat and a tele, both standard, the only tone difference i can notice is that my tele use for like CCR songs, they have that kind of tone (thats just my opinion don't hold me to it) My strat i use for some classic rock, most 90s music (mostly Pearl Jam), and blues. My tele i use for classic rock, some country and some 90s music. Hope this helps

I may be biased, but you should totally try a telecaster. Any will do, even the cheapest. People across the board of genres use them, and they feel, look, and sound amazing.

You have been given good advise all around. The only thing I would say for the music you want to play just make sure you have a humbucker in the bridge .

I think, in choosing the right guitar depends on the awareness about your playing style and being comfortable with the instrument.

Telecaster has proved to be quite adaptable to different styles of playing and suited to different genres of music. It appealed immensely to the country rock musicians because of its bright tone.

Strat, on the other hand, had many features in its design that went on to revolutionize the way guitarist looked at the instrument. Fender used plastic covers on pickup in order to help eliminate the microphonic feedback. Subtle changes were made in the body of the instrument, like adding contours, to make holding and playing of the guitar easier. It also has revolutionary tremolo arm design. It allowed the guitarist to control the pitch of a note by either lowering it or raising it. It helped a player create vibrato.

I hope this may help you decide. Good luck!

I think an important question you should ask yourself is if you intend to use a whammy bar. If it doesn't fit the style of music you mainly play then I'd go with a hardtail strat or a tele for ease with tuning. I just blocked the trem in my start and it seems like a whole new guitar in many ways.
but trems can make some cool sounds, that's the trade off I guess.
