Personal feeling is...

... this is a ghastly recession and they scaled down the catalogue and product line substantially. Every word and image in a catalgue costs something, somehow.

Specs for a lot of instruments may have been the financial difference between this catalogue or a much skimpier one.

^ That would be ridiculous. I could understand why they would slim down or even get rid of the paper catalog, but to do the same for the internet info would be stupid. Does anyone know a Fender employee to contact about this whole issue?

Just use the "Report" button and talk to Brad Traweek.

Hope that helps you.

I am not sure what you are talking about. I just found specs on all the guitars you posted. Nut widths, bidy composition, neck radius', c or v necks, all of it.

Go to the products page, pick the style, pich the specific guitar, then click on the guitar. After the picture there is an overview, there is also a tab that says specs. Push that tab and low and behold the specs come up. give it a try. The info below is from the spec tab. Unless the finish is mentioned, it is generally Poly.

I noticed that tab yesterday. For some reason, I didn't see that before unless I"m going nutty. (well....going? ) Thanks for the post.

I still don't like the labels that are on some of the guitars with the names of the artists on them when first looking at them (except for the stripped down models). For me, it's distracting.

Did we find out an answer to this, because they still don't list body material or finish.
