Really good, old school blues. Definitely shows his Gatemouth Brown influence.

Good vocals by Lou Ann Barton on a couple of tracks too.

Isn't it out tomorrow? I have a very busy day tomorrow, but I'm still going to find to time to go hunt for it. :)

Just ordered it. Looking forward to checking it out. The man is a master of feel and understatement.

It's on Itunes for those that use Itunes.

Cool, thanks. I've been looking forward to it for a year now. :) I really hope that some stores around town will carry it since I really don't want to wait for it to ship. And though I'm not opposed to downloading music, for special things like this I really like to read the liner notes and everything.

:D Agree on CDs with liner notes. I have nothing against downloading, and I definitely buy from iTunes, but for those things that really are close to my heart, I want a booklet with photos, liner notes, etc. Something to bring me a bit closer into the music. I know it's old school, but there is something to be said for a package that enhances the experience.

Well, I got it! I went to Cactus Records (which is even more awesome than I imagined) on my way to the recording studio to pick it up. I paid $14 for it so I saved $3 by not having to have shipping. However... I also bought seven vinyl records which cost me $19 more than I would have spend ordering online. Oh well, next time I just have to bring only as much money as I need and not look around or I'll just have to avoid the entire store unless I'm ready for a splurge. :P

As for the record, I had the meeting today plus work, plus dinner so I've only just now gotten some free time. I'll post my thoughts tomorrow. :)

I got it along with Walter Trout's new release, 'Common Ground'.
