I was wondering if Fender ever made this in a Strat rather than a Tele. Just curious. It's for sentimental reasons concerning that year that I was looking at this line.

Thanks.

Fender Japan is the only one that makes a '72 reissue Strat and it's not imported for retail sale in the US. Most Fender Japan guitars are not sold in the US anymore unfortunately. When I google'd '72 reissue Strat" I found one at this place: http://www.tommyguitars.com/catalog/ite ... 153132.htm Never heard of Tommy's Guitars before, so buyer beware. You might have luck finding one used on ebay or craigslist.
