so i have a mim strat with a humbucker in the bridge an sd hotrails in the neck and a stock single coil in the middle

i just ordered some self adhesive copper tape with the intention of shielding the cavity to reduce hum

what is the best way of going about this?

do i have to undo the wiring or can i work around it?

where should i shield?

basically any input is appreciated

you shouldn't be getting any hum from the bucker or the rails so that leaves the stock middle pup , i would get a noisless pup and save a lt of messing about , just a thought :D
