Hi guys,

here's a poem you might like that I wrote about my Lite Ash Tele:

Telecaster by Eddie Castellan

I was among the
looking glass veins
of her natural ash,
studying nakedness

making harsh jangles
and elemental bite,
separating notes like
hawks and sliced roots

I felt the sun trickling
down my neck,
to my fingers and the
cutting pools of frets

streaked peaks roaring
in silent crystal-sweat,
churning up maple maps
and threats of riffs

I found within her
a paradise of easiness,
and puzzles to the
pulse of free-form radio

The poem is on my poetry website www.eddiecastellan.com
There's a pic of the Tele, which is Korean-built, and modified with Gotoh bridge and heads; Great guitar! There's another poem and pic about my Strat too.

best wishes, Eddie

nice poetry site you have man...

nothing like a Telecaster to get you feeling like writing a poem, be it with a pen or your Telecaster in hand!

Welcome, thank you for sharing the poem, have fun.

'Have a transparent ash/maple Tele, and the poem is right on, a fitting honour to "Margie."
